"Patchwork Placemats" (tutorial)

"Individuales en Patchwork"
Tutorial

Hi again, a few days ago I found some beautiful fabrics with coffe cups in it, and just love it. So I decided to do some placemats for my dinning room table.

I did it in a very simple way. I cut the fabric with the big square cups...

...and with the rest of the fabrics I cut strips in different sizes; In 1.5, 2, 4 and 6 inches.

Then I start to assemble the placemates joining the strips with the squares ramdomly.

After that, I cut them to be 10' x 15' inches final measurement.

...then I quilt it and make the decorative stitches by machine.
Finally sewed the bias all around the placemats and they were ready to use at my table.

It was a very easy and fast way t do it and the result was very nice.

Su inglés es tan bueno. Espero hablar español tan bien un día. Un detalle de ayuda: "and them was ready to use at my table" - Diríamos "and they were".

Gracias por ayudarme con mi español. :D
