"Christmas Spoons"

Saludos, aquí de nuevo escribiendo antes que me gane la navidad. Hoy les traigo unas cucharas de madera que decoré. Son pàrte de una propuesta del blog "Tazas Club", al que fuí invitada recientemente a participar. ¡Gracias Canelussaka, Noumen y Carmen! Es un lindo espacio.
Greetings, writing here again before Christmas gets me. Today I bring you this decorated wooden spoons. They are part of a proposal by the blog "Tazas Club", in which I was recently invited to participate.Thanks Canelussaka, noumen and Carmen! It's a nice space.

La propuesta era decorar la cuchara con la galletita de jengibre pero como las cucharas que adquirí, venian en juegos de tres decidí hacer aparte unos muñecos de nieve como los pueden ver abajo. Se ven lindos también. ¿Verdad?
The proposal was to decorate the spoon with gingerbread cookies but the spoons I hade comes in sets of three.I decided to make some snowmen as you can see below. They look cute too. Right?

Y la tercera cuchara como ven la decoré con una muñequita Rag, que no podía faltar, ya saben que son mis muñecas favoritas; se ve chulísima con su bufanda para el frio.
And I decorated the last spoon with a Rag doll, you know that those are my favorite dolls, she looks very cool with his scarf for the cold.

Y así quedo mi juego de cucharas para darle aire navideño a mi cocina en estas fiestas. Fué una labor sencilla pero que se ve muy bonita una vez terminada.
And this is my set of spoons to give my kitchen Christmas air this holiday season. It was a simple task but it looks very nice when completed.

Reto Cumplido ¡¡

Saludos amigas ¡¡ Estoy feliz ya que he terminado uno más de los SALs a los que me he inscrito ultimamente. Y me alegra irlos cumpliendo poco a poco, ya que es una manera de reconocer a aquellas que los organizan sin otro objetivo que hacer trabajos en conjunto para acercarnos con amantes de la costura de todo el mundo. Estoy segura que no es una tarea facil y como siempre agradecerles el tiempo y dedicación ¡¡
Hello friends, I'm happy bacause I completed one more of the SALs to which I have signed up lately. And I'm glad, it is a way to recognize those who organize this SALs with no other goal than to work together with sewing enthusiasts worldwide. Como siempre digo, soy completamente "Raggedy Lover" y no me pude resistir a hacer esta bella muñeca.
Como ven hice dos, ya que van a ser regalo para dos personas que aprecio muchisimo, y a pesar que no las veo tan seguido por circuntancias de la vida el sentimiento ahí está.

As I always say, I am completely "Raggedy Lover" and I couldn't resist doing this beautiful doll.
As you see I made two, they will be presents for two people I appreciate a lot, and although I do not see so them often cause life circumstamces the feeling still there.

Julie, my sister in law already got hers ... among the short time we spent together I know you know the affection is always there.

A month ago or so, this little raggedy Mary Ann began her journey home.

Salió de México y luego de varios vuelos y cruzando el mar llegó a su nueva casa en Humacao, puerto rico. Un lugar precioso con unos paisajes bellísimos. 
Debe ser maravilloso vivir en una isla ¡
She left Mexico and after several flights over the sea, Mary Ann reached her new home in Humacao, Puerto Rico. A beautiful place with beautiful landscapes. It must be wonderful to live in an island ¡¡

En Humacao la esperaba Carmen, quien la acogió amorosamente en su casa; la presentó con sus nuevas amigas y sé que le dará todo el amor que esta pequeñita se merece. En ningún otro lugar podría estar mejor ¡ 

Carmen was waiting her at home in Humacao, she was lovingly welcomed; and presented with her ​​new friends and I know that Carmen will give this little girl all the love that she deserves. No where else could be better ¡

Mary Ann is on her way to Puerto Rico, Where my dear friend Carmen is waiting for her. 
It's great to think that this little doll I've made with all my love is going to live in Carmen's home that is so far away from here, where she is going to be loved and apreciated, as I do with all my dolls. 
It's a mysterious way how love travels around the world ¡ Don't you think?
Mary Ann esta en camino a Puerto Rico, donde la espera mi querida amiga Carmen.
Es grandioso pensar que esta pequeña muñeca que hice con todo mi cariño va a vivir en casa de Carmen que esta tan lejos de aqui, donde será amada y apreciada, como hago yo con todas las muñecas que hago.
El amor tiene una manera misteriosa de viajar alrededor del mundo ¡ No creen?

Mary Ann y su borreguito van a viajar muy lejos a casa de Carmen. Ella es una gran amiga mia que comparte mi amor por la muñequería. Nos conocimos en bloggolandia y nos hicimos buenas amigas rápidamente. Y ahora vamos a intercambiar muñecas. Ella va a adoptar una de las mias y yo voy a adoptar una de las de ella.
No creen que es maravilloso?
Y ahora volviendo a Mary Ann: ella está hecha de muselina, su carita esta bordada y pintada a mano. Tiene pelo de estambre y vestidito de algodón. La carita y orejitas del borreguito estan pintadas tambien, y tiene un corazon aplicado de tela.
Ella adora montarlo, es su mejor amigo y ahora ambos estan muy emocionados de viajar a casa de Carmen, porque ya ansían conocerla. 

Mary Ann and her little lamb are going to travel far away to Carmen's house. She is a dear friend of mine and she shares with me the love of doll making. We met each other in blogsland and we became good friends very fast. And now we are going to exchange dolls. She is going to adopt one of mine and I'm going to adopt one of hers. 

Don't you think that's great?
And now back to Mary Ann: she is made of muslin, her face is hand stitched and hand painted. She has yarn hair and a cotton dress. The little lamb's face and ears are painted too, and it has a small heart apliqued on it.
She loves to ride her lamb, he is her best friend and now both of them are so excited of traveling to Carmen's house, cause they can't wait to meet her.

Little Annies Ready!!

Finally done, al the twenty dolls. They are going to be hanging from my christmas tree at home. I can't hardly wait.
I love being home and I sure love my christmas tree. As soon clases end up, we're taking the road. It will be next weekend. That's great.

Finalmente terminadas, las veinte muñequitas. Ellas estarán adornando mi árbol de Navidad muy pronto. Casi ni puedo esperar.
Amo estar en casa y sin duda amo mi árbol de navidad. Tan pronto terminen las clases agarraremos el camino a casa. Lo que sucedera el proximo fin de semana. Lo cual es maravilloso!

As you can see, I can't help it, i just love raggedies. So I did a couple of them for my christmas Tree. They are very small, about 8", made of muslin, with embroidered face, red yarn hair and painted shoes. Andy's clothes are red and blue and Annie's are in a beautiful printed red. I can't wait to see both hanging in my Tree.

Como ven no lo puedo evitar, adoro estas muñecas. Así que me hice un par de raggedies para adornar mi arbolito de Navidad. Son pequeñas, como 20 cm, hechas de muslin, con su carita bordada, pelo rojo de estambre y zapatitos pintados. La ropa de Andy es roja y azul y la de Annie es una linda tela roja estampada. No puedo esperar para verlos colgando de mi árbol.

They are Raggedy Annie and Raggedy Andy, as you see they are very sweet and lovable.

I really love  the soft colors I choosed for their clothes, they are such baby colors.

Me encantaron los colores suaves que escogí para sus ropas, son colores adecuados para bebe.

Hi everyone, great name for a post. Don't you think? Well, I think so, but this post is about dolls, nothing else; lately is what I had been doing: dolls, raggedy Dolls, and I 'm very happy that I finished especially this one. 

Saludos a todas,es un titulo super para una entrada, ¿No creen? Bueno, eso me parece a mi, pero esta entrada es sobre muñecas y nada mas. Ultimamente he estado haciendo muñecas raggedy y estoy feliz de haber terminado esta en especial.

It was the very first pattern I got a long time ago. In that time I never imagine how much I will love making dolls. 

So I have made a lot of dolls, this past months but had not done this one, because I wanted fabric with frogs for her dress and thanks to my friend Rosy, as always; I got the perfect one last week.

Ese fué el primer patrón que compre hace muchos meses. En ese tiempo no me imaginaba cuando me hiba a gustar hacer muñecas. Así que estos meses he estado haciendo un montón de muñecas, pero esta no la habia hecho porque queria una tela con ranas o sapos para su vetido. Y la semana pasada, como siempre gracias a mi amiga Rosy, conseguí la tela perfecta. 

And here is "Tiana", she is a lovely raggedy, and she comes with her  little frog and a cute label, as you can see. I  loved the label, the frog and everything, just love this doll¡¡

Y aqui esta "Tiana", es una amorosa raggedy, y viene con su pequeño sapo y una etiqueta muy graciosa, como pueden ver. Simplemente adoro la etiqueta, el sapo, todo. Simplemente adoro esta muñeca.

The pattern is from "Homespun from the heart", I only change the hair a little and made the braiding. I love how she looks. 

El patrón es de "Homespun from the heart", solo le cambié el pelo un poco y le hice trenzas. Me encanta como quedo.

This is beautiful Margie Ann, I haven't post about her because she was a gift for my dear friend Julia Margot; that's why I called this doll "Margie".

Julia have allready received the present and she loved the idea of adopting Margie Ann. So everything is perfect.

Esta es la lindísima Margie Ann. No se las habia presentado porque era un regalo querida amiga Julia Margot; por eso la llamé Margie.
