Saludos amigas ¡¡ Estoy feliz ya que he terminado uno más de los SALs a los que me he inscrito ultimamente. Y me alegra irlos cumpliendo poco a poco, ya que es una manera de reconocer a aquellas que los organizan sin otro objetivo que hacer trabajos en conjunto para acercarnos con amantes de la costura de todo el mundo. Estoy segura que no es una tarea facil y como siempre agradecerles el tiempo y dedicación ¡¡
Hello friends, I'm happy bacause I completed one more of the SALs to which I have signed up lately. Como siempre digo, soy completamente "Raggedy Lover" y no me pude resistir a hacer esta bella muñeca.
Como ven hice dos, ya que van a ser regalo para dos personas que aprecio muchisimo, y a pesar que no las veo tan seguido por circuntancias de la vida el sentimiento ahí está.

As I always say, I am completely "Raggedy Lover" and I couldn't resist doing this beautiful doll.
As you see I made two, they will be presents for two people I appreciate a lot, and although I do not see so them often cause life circumstamces the feeling still there.

Me la envió mi querida amiga Carmen del blog "My country touch", que a pesar de la distancia se ha vuelto una persona muy importante en mi vida. Como ven tiene arte en las manos haciendo muñecas y tengo el privilegio de tener una de sus creaciones.

Beautiful fabrics that will be very useful for me, a scissors case,a pincushion,fabric to make a lovely heart pillow, strips of paper for multiple uses, postcards of the beautiful Puerto Rico ...

Me ha consentido, ¿No creen?...También estos cojincitos hechos por ella, lindísimos, uno para mí, uno para mi hija Bárbara y uno para mi amiga Rosy de Palenque, que se lo enviaré lo más pronto posible.

Carmen, Bárbara te agradece muchísimo,le encantó y ya lo tiene colgado en su habitación. 

She have spoiled me,  Don't you think? ... Also these small cushions she made. All ​​are very pretty; one for me, one for my daughter Barbara and one for my friend Rosy of Palenque, which I will send her as soon as possible.

Y por ultimo un regalo que me maravilló por su sencillez y utilidad; una fresita que al principio pensé que era un alfiletero o un sachet pero cual fué mi sorpresa al abrirla, es una bolsa, ideal para llevar al super dentro de nuestro bolso de mano y traer la compra en ella, así contribuimos con el planeta usando menos bolsas de plastico.

And finally a gift that surpiised me, cause its simplicity and usefulness, a strawberry that at first, I thought it was a pincushion or a sachet, but what was my surprise when I opened it. It is a bag, ideal to take to the grocery store in our handbag  to bring everything in it  and contribute to the planet by using less plastic bags.

Hi again, finally "Ringo" is finished, he is the first raggedy boy I made, and I just love him, his little girlfriend "Honey Pie" has been ready since august. Now the're going to be accompanied.

Hola de nuevo,finalmente termine a Ringo, es mi primer raggedy niño y me encanta. su amiguita Honey Pie esta lista desde agosto, ahora se haran compañia.

His uncombed hair falling over his forehead reminds me the famous beatles hairstyle, and that's why I called him Ringo, as the band's drummer  unforgettable Ringo Star.

Su pelo depeinado cayendo sobre su frente me recuerda al famoso peinado de los beatles, por eso lo llamé Ringo como el inolvidable baterista de la banda, Ringo Starr.

He has a muslin body, embroidered face and painted shoes. Ringo is very happy with his new shirt and pants.

Esta hecho de muslin, su carita está bordada y sus zapatos pintados. Ringo esta muy contento con su camisa y pantalón nuevos.

Hi everyone, great name for a post. Don't you think? Well, I think so, but this post is about dolls, nothing else; lately is what I had been doing: dolls, raggedy Dolls, and I 'm very happy that I finished especially this one. 

Saludos a todas,es un titulo super para una entrada, ¿No creen? Bueno, eso me parece a mi, pero esta entrada es sobre muñecas y nada mas. Ultimamente he estado haciendo muñecas raggedy y estoy feliz de haber terminado esta en especial.

It was the very first pattern I got a long time ago. In that time I never imagine how much I will love making dolls. 

So I have made a lot of dolls, this past months but had not done this one, because I wanted fabric with frogs for her dress and thanks to my friend Rosy, as always; I got the perfect one last week.

Ese fué el primer patrón que compre hace muchos meses. En ese tiempo no me imaginaba cuando me hiba a gustar hacer muñecas. Así que estos meses he estado haciendo un montón de muñecas, pero esta no la habia hecho porque queria una tela con ranas o sapos para su vetido. Y la semana pasada, como siempre gracias a mi amiga Rosy, conseguí la tela perfecta. 

And here is "Tiana", she is a lovely raggedy, and she comes with her  little frog and a cute label, as you can see. I  loved the label, the frog and everything, just love this doll¡¡

Y aqui esta "Tiana", es una amorosa raggedy, y viene con su pequeño sapo y una etiqueta muy graciosa, como pueden ver. Simplemente adoro la etiqueta, el sapo, todo. Simplemente adoro esta muñeca.

The pattern is from "Homespun from the heart", I only change the hair a little and made the braiding. I love how she looks. 

El patrón es de "Homespun from the heart", solo le cambié el pelo un poco y le hice trenzas. Me encanta como quedo.

I won this pattern in a giveaway that Cindy made in her blog. I change the hair a little and dressed the doll with a normal dress because in the pattern she came dressed like a witch. Halloween has not arrived my home yet, I think soon will be

Me gane el patron en un giveaway que hizo Cindy en su blog. Modifique el pelo un poco y la vestí a mi gusto ya que en el patrón venia vestida de brujita. Halloween no ha llegado a mi casa todavía, pero que pronto lo hará.

I'm very happy with this small raggedies.
I already painted the shoes and the face is embroidered with red and black thread and the eyes are black buttons.
Both dolls are going to be presents for very especial people.
Maybe I finish them tomorrow ...

Ya les pinte los zapatitos, y la cara esta bordada con hilos rojo y negro, los ojitos son botones negros.

Mary Ann, my new rag doll, have a beatiful little lamb too.

Mary Ann, mi nueva muñeca rag, también tiene un lindo borreguito. 

It is made of white fabric and with the face painted with black paint and after that I've aplique gloss so it looks like black leather.

Esta hecho de tela blanca con la cara pintada de negro y despues le aplique barniz (sellador), lo que le dió la apariencia de cuero negro.

An it has two wooden sticks painted in black too, to help the lamb standing in place.

Y tiene dos palitos de madera negros tambén para ayudarlo a mantenerse de pie.

Mary has such an angelic look. Her face is painted and hand embroidered.

Mary tiene una mirada angelical. Su carita está pintada y bordada a mano.

She can pose in different ways and she looks beatiful from any angle you see her. Here she is sitting in a chair, being a really good girl.

Ella puede posar de muchas maneras diferentes, y es realmente bella desde cualquier angulo en que la mires.Aqui esta sentada en su sillita siendo una niña muy buena.

Mary Ann enjoys going to the fair and ride in the carousel horses again and again.

A Mary Ann le encanta ir a la feria y montar los caballitos del carrusel una y otra vez.

 She is saying goodbye.

I love this little rag, she is the youngest of my raggedy daugthers, and she is the most pampered and spoiled one.
Esta diciendo adios. Adoro esta muñeca, es la mas pequeña de todas mis hijas raggedy, y es la mas mimada y consentida.

Hi everyone, This beautiful doll is "Raggedy Barby", it's the first doll my daugther Bárbara's made.

Saludos a todas, esta bellísima muñeca es Raggedy Barby, es la primera muñeca hecha por mi hija Bárbara.

 She made it all by hand, she also drew her face to be hand stitched.
Ella la hizo completamente a mano, incluso le dibujó la carita para bordarla.

I'm very proud of her and she really enjoyed making it, so it was a perfect day.
Estoy muy orgullosa de ella, ademas ella realmente disfrutó haciéndola. A sí que fué un dia perfecto.

Hi, we are on vacations, but we still working our crafts. Why I'm saying "we"? Because this last days I have been with very good company.

Rosy, my dear friend and I    start making our "Mop Angels", like one that my mom gave me a long time ago. That's the one on the photo, later I'm going to post ours photos so you can see how they came out.

Estamos de vacaciones, pero seguimos trabajando en nuestras manualidades. Y porqué digo "seguimos"? Pues porque estos últimos dias he tenido muy buena compañia.

Mi querida amiga Rosy y yo empezamos a hacer unos angeles de mechudo, como uno que me hizo mi mamá hace muchos años. Es el que se ve en la foto. Mas tarde subiré las fotos de los nuestros para que vean como quedaron.

But the great surprice we had yesterday was my daugther Bárbara and her two friends, Erica and Jessy, whom joined us. They wanted to learn to make dolls, so we got down to work.

Pero la grandiosa sorpresa que tuvimos ayer fué que mi hija Bárbara y dos de sus amigas, Erica y Jessy se unieron a nosotras. Ellas querian aprender a hacer muñecas, así que pusimos manos a la obra.

They are doing their dolls all by hand, because there's only one sewing machine, and they are coming out beautiful.

The three of them use the same doll pattern but they embellished each doll with theirs own style and all the dolls are quite different.

Ellas estan haciendo sus muñecas completamente a mano, ya que no tengo tres maquinas de cocer y les estan quedando bellísimas. Las tres usaron el mismo patrón pero cada una la adornó a su gusto, y las tres muñecas estan diferentes.

You maybe can't imagine how fullfilling was for me watching my daugther making her first doll.

Later I'm going to upload the girl finished dolls.

Tal vez no puedan imaginar lo gratificante que fué para mi ver a mi hija haciendo su primera muñeca.

Tan pronto esten listas subiré las fotos de las tres muñecas.
