Hello again, my husband and boys aren't home, they went to Mérida because Beto is starting school today. Andy and my husband must be back tomorrow night. Bárbara and I stayed here in palenque all by ourselves, so is going to be a relaxing day and I could blog early in the morning today.

When vacations just start I shared with you a mop angel my mom gave me years ago.

Now I want to share with you, the mop angel I make just like that one. 

I'm taking this one to my house in Mérida cause the one my mom made is here in Palenque.

Hola de nuevo, mi marido y mis hijos no estan en casa, se fueron a Mérida ya que Beto empieza clases hoy. Andy y mi marido deben estar de regreso mañana en la noche. Bárbara y yo estamos solas aqui, así que hoy va a ser un dia de relax y me puse a bloguear desde temprano.

Al inicio de las vacaciones les compartí un angel de mechudo que mi mamá me regaló hace muchos años, hoy les quiero enseñar uno que hice  igual a aquel. Me lo voy a llevar a mi casa de Mérida ya que el de mi mamá lo tengo aqui en Palenque.

I made mine in pink and really likes how it looks. Maybe you remenber my mom's, it is in red and I love it.

Yo lo hice en rosa y me encantó como quedo. A lo mejor recuerdan el que hizo mi mamá que es en color rojo, el cual adoro también.

Hi, we are on vacations, but we still working our crafts. Why I'm saying "we"? Because this last days I have been with very good company.

Rosy, my dear friend and I    start making our "Mop Angels", like one that my mom gave me a long time ago. That's the one on the photo, later I'm going to post ours photos so you can see how they came out.

Estamos de vacaciones, pero seguimos trabajando en nuestras manualidades. Y porqué digo "seguimos"? Pues porque estos últimos dias he tenido muy buena compañia.

Mi querida amiga Rosy y yo empezamos a hacer unos angeles de mechudo, como uno que me hizo mi mamá hace muchos años. Es el que se ve en la foto. Mas tarde subiré las fotos de los nuestros para que vean como quedaron.

But the great surprice we had yesterday was my daugther Bárbara and her two friends, Erica and Jessy, whom joined us. They wanted to learn to make dolls, so we got down to work.

Pero la grandiosa sorpresa que tuvimos ayer fué que mi hija Bárbara y dos de sus amigas, Erica y Jessy se unieron a nosotras. Ellas querian aprender a hacer muñecas, así que pusimos manos a la obra.

They are doing their dolls all by hand, because there's only one sewing machine, and they are coming out beautiful.

The three of them use the same doll pattern but they embellished each doll with theirs own style and all the dolls are quite different.

Ellas estan haciendo sus muñecas completamente a mano, ya que no tengo tres maquinas de cocer y les estan quedando bellísimas. Las tres usaron el mismo patrón pero cada una la adornó a su gusto, y las tres muñecas estan diferentes.

You maybe can't imagine how fullfilling was for me watching my daugther making her first doll.

Later I'm going to upload the girl finished dolls.

Tal vez no puedan imaginar lo gratificante que fué para mi ver a mi hija haciendo su primera muñeca.

Tan pronto esten listas subiré las fotos de las tres muñecas.
