Big quilt or small quilt...That's the question.

Colcha grande o colcha chica...
Esa es la cuestión.

Al fin... ya escogí las telas, corte las tiras y se las costuré a cada cuadro del calendario country¡
Finally...chose the fabrics, cut the strips and sewed them to each block of the country calendar¡

Me gusta como se ven juntos, ahora mi dilema es decidir si agregar mas tiras para hacer una colcha para cama mas grande, o dejarla asi tal cual como una colchita de bebé o una colcha cubrepiernas.
I like how they look together, now my dilemma is what to do: add more strips to make it a bigger bed quilt, or  leave it in that size for a baby quilt or a lap quilt.

Me estaba gustando la idea de que quedara como un gobelino para colgar en mi cuarto de T.V., pero creo que está quedando demasiado grande para eso...¿Que creen?
I was on the idea of leaving it as a wallhwnging for my T.V. room, but is getting too big for that...Don't you think?

...mmmm tendré que seguir viéndola, y a ver que decido. 
Uniendo todos mediría mas o menos 42.5 pulg. de ancho por 51 pulg. de ancho.

Tienen sugerencias?

...mmmm I'll have to keep watching at it, and see what I decide. 
Joining all together it would measure more or less 42.5 in wide and 51 in long.

Have any suggestions?

Country Calendar

February block

No muy tarde esta vez¡ Aquí esta el cuadro de Febrero del calendario country.

Ahora es hora de escoger las telas para terminarlo.

Va a ser un colchita para el regazo para el cuarto de T.V. o un gobelino para el recibidor. Lo estoy pensando, pero no me he decidido aún.

La meta es terminarlo en Marzo para empezar un nuevo proyecto en Abril.

Julia y Rosy: ya casi lo terminamos¡ No es grandioso?

Not too late this time ¡ Here is finally the february block of the country calendar. Now is time to pick the fabrics to finish it. It's going to be a small lap quilt for the T.V. room or a wallhanging for my receiving room. I'm figuring it, and haven't decided yet. 

The goal is to finish it in March, so we can start a new project in april.

Julia and Rosy: it's almost done ¡ Isn't that great ?

Febrero es el último mes del calendario country que Rosy, Margot y yo hemos estado haciendo desde Marzo del año pasado.

En una entrada anterior publique los meses de Diciembre y Noviembre.

Ahora toca el turno a Septiembre y Octubre...

February is the last month of the country calendar that Rosy, Margot and I have been doing since march of last year. 

In an previous post I published the months of November and December. 

Now is the turn of September and October..

Rainy september is here, it has been raining amost every day so this were good days to sit and embroider, listening the rain  fall.

My sister Yulia loved the Annie doll I made for her birthday, and that makes me  really happy. She told that she was going to take little Annie to her work next day to show her to her friends. That's wonderful.
