Hola amigas, aquí haciendo tiempo para ir a recoger a mi hija a la plaza (Centro Comercial), que fue de paseo con sus amigas.

Así que decidí publicar mis tres Tildas Flower Garden juntas, ya que se las mostré una por una.

Como ven son una rubia, una trigueña y una morena. Me encantaron las tres, ya que cada una tiene su encanto.

Ahh¡¡¡ Por ultimo les quiero compartir un pequeño adelanto del proyecto en el que estoy trabajando. Es una labor muy especial ya que es una idea que tenía en la cabeza hace un tiempo y al fin me decidí experimentar y me está gustando mucho el resultado.

Además será el regalo de cumpleaños de una persona muy especial y amiga de toda la vida.

Aquí les muestro todo envejecido con café, ya que le quiero dar un toque antiguo, ya le hice los detalles bordados y solo me queda armar... tan pronto este listo les platicaré como apliqué la técnica del craquelado en la muñequería, ya la habia usado hace tiempo cuando pintaba cerámica y el aspecto cuarteado de la pintura siempre me encantó.

Me despido ya y les deseo pasen buenas noches...que ya me voy de volada a recoger a mi hija.

Ahh¡¡¡ Finally I want to share with you a little preview of the project I'm working on. It is a very special labor as it is an idea I had in my head for a while and now I finally decided to experiment with it and I'm enjoying it and I´m loving the final result.
It will also be the birthday present of a very special person and a lifelong friend.
Here I show all the pieces aged with coffee because I want to give them an antique look, already did the embroidery details and now I can put all the parts together ... as soon it is ready I will tell you how I used the craquelizer technique in dollmaking, I had used this a long ago when painted ceramics and I always love the paint cracked appearance.

! Al fín ¡ La casa nueva en orden, todos acomodados...mmm, salvo algunos detalles pero lo más importante es que ya tengo el internet conectado de nuevo, así que aquí estoy de regreso contenta de compartir con ustedes.

Esta es la última de las tres "Tildas Flower Garden" que hice, fué para mi sobrina Barbarita por su cumpleaños. 
This is the last of the three "Tilda Flower Garden" I did, it was for my niece Barbarita for her birthday.

Es muy parecida a las dos primeras, solo que las telas que elegí le dan un aire mas formal; ya ven que el blanco y negro siempre es elegante.
It is very similar to the first two, the  fabrics I choose give her a formal look and as you know black and white is always elegant.

Para el cabello de ésta decidí hacerle unas trenzas levantadas en un color muy claro de estambre ya que es la mas "güera" (rubia) de las tres.
For this one, I decided to make her hair in braids raised up in a very light color of yarn, as she is the "blondest" of the three dolls.

Igual que a la anterior le puse un sombrerito blanco a juego con su atuendo y flores en sus sandalias. Y no podía faltar la canastita de flores en sus manos de color blanco también. ! 
Quedó linda ¡ ¿ No creen ?

Like the previous one, she is wearing a white hat to match her dress and flowers in her sandals. And I could not miss the basket of flowers in her hands white as well. !
She is nice, don't you think?

Y aquí de despedida, les dejo una foto del nuevo miembro de la familia, es una gatita que mis hijos llamaron "Trish". 

Y al parecer el mito de que los gatos adoran las pilas de tela de toda "quilter"(costurera)...

Hola amigas, con la novedad de que me cambié de casa, ! Es increible cuantas cosas acumulamos en estos tres años de vivir aquí en Mérida ¡ Y aunque no lo crean de toda la familia la que más cosas tenía para empacar fuí yo, y la mayor parte fueron mis cajas de telas, mis revistas de manualidades, mis maquinas de cocer etc, etc etc... Ya se imaginarán ¡¡ Pero despues de dos días de arduo trabajo acomodando todo, al fin me dí un tiempito para escribir.
Hello friends, with good news, we have moved to another house,  It's amazing how many things we accumulate in these three years of living here in Merida. And believe it or not, I was the one  that had to pack more things, and most of them were my  fabric boxes, my crafts magazines, my sewing machines etc etc etc ... So you can imagine how is it, and after two days of hard work arranging everything, finally I found a little time to write.

Y hoy quiero mostrarles la segunda de las tres tildas que estoy haciendo inspirada en los proyectos del blog "Las Tildas de Canelussaka". Esta es la de mi hija Barbara.
And today I want to show you the second "Tilda doll of three, that I'm doing inspired by the blog "Las tildas de Canelussaka." This doll belongs to my daughter Barbara.

A lo mejor recuerdan la primera morenita estilo reggae, bueno pues esta es de un estilo más romántico y mas apegada a la Tilda Flower Garden original.
This doll is more romantic than the first one that had a reggae look;  she looks more like the original Tilda Flower Garden.

Esta muñeca tiene su cabello recogido a los lados, "Tilda Style", tiene un sombrerito de paja y una canasta de flores en las manos, como ven es ligeramente morena y con el cabello castaño.
Her hair is "Tilda Style", and she has a rustic hat and a basket of flowers in her hands. As you see she has light brown hair.

Ya ven que las telas de flores combinadas con los cuadritos verdes lucen lindos en su vestido y le da un look muy primaveral. ! Ni que decir de sus sandalias adornadas con unas flores ¡ 
The flower fabrics are very well combined with green fabric, she looks very cute and like spring in her dress.. ! Needless to say, how lovely are her sandals adorned with flowers

Hola , ¿Como estan? Nosotros ya de regreso de la playa, donde pasamos el fin de semana otra vez.
 Hello, how are you? We are now back from the beach, where we spent the weekend again.

La pasamos muy bien, disfrutando el mar, la arena, el sol y para rematar, en la noche fuimos a la feria, donde chicos y grandes nos divertimos. Seguro lo notan al ver las fotos. 
We had a great time, enjoying the sea, the sand, the sun and in the evening, we went to the fair, where young and old had fun. You sure notice it, viewing the photos.

Ha sido maravilloso pasar estos dias con mis hermanos (Los cuatro juntos por primera vez) y nuestros hijos han disfrutado también la convivencia con sus primos. 
Estoy segura que serán recuerdos que todos atesoraremos siempre.

It has been wonderful to spend these days with my brothers (The four together for the first time) and our children have also enjoyed hanging out with their ​​cousins. I'm sure everyone will always treasure this memories.

Durante la semana he tenido tiempo de sobra para dedicarme a costurar y por fín hice un bolso para mi compu. Ya tenía tiempo que tenía el diseño en mi cabeza y me encantó como quedó, además que me sirve muy bien para protegerla de golpes o el polvo.
During the week I had plenty of time to sew and at last, I made a bag for my computer. It's been a long time I had the design in my head and is finally done. I loved it  and it is very useful to protect the computer from dust and sand.

Use una tela muy dulce de flores y la decoré al frente con un tapetito redondo tejido hace mucho por mi abuela. Desde que lo ví supe que sería ideal para la bolsa.
Use a very sweet flower fabric and I decorated the front with a round tissue knitted by my grandmother long ago. Since I saw it I knew that would be ideal for the bag.

En el otro lado le hice un bolsillo con elástico en la parte superior para poder guardar ahi el cargador sin problemas. Le puse una tapa cerrada con velcro y por dentro le puse otro bolsillo sencillo para guardar mi USB o cualquier otra cosa.
On the other side I made a pocket with elastic at the top where to keep  the charger without problems. I put a lid closed with velcro and inside another pocket to put my USB or anything else.

Estoy más que satisfecha con esta labor, ya que me ha servido mucho y muy bien para llevar y traer mi compu. 
¿Que les parece? ¿Verdad que la tela está para comérsela como un caramelo? A mí si ¡¡
I am more than satisfied with this work, and that has helped me a lot to take and bring out my computer.

Hola amigas, como han estado, yo aqui de nuevo escribiendo mientras llueve a cántaros afuera.
Como ven he estado trabajando bastante en mis manualidades, y hoy les quiero compartir esta bella muñeca Tilda, que hice como parte de un proyecto conjunto del blog Las Tildas de Canelussaka.

Hello friends, how have you been, I'm writing here again with the rain outside.
I've been working hard on my crafts, and today I want to share this beautiful Tilda doll, I did as part of a joint project of the blog "Las Tildas de Canelussaka".

Esta muñeca que ya adorna mi casa es la primera de tres que estoy haciendo y esta fué la que escogí para mí. Decidí hacer tres ya que le debo el regalo de cumpleaños a mi sobrina Barbarita y la otra sería para mi hija Barbara que seguro me la va a pedir.
This doll is already decorating my house, she is the first one of three that I'm doing. This was the one I chose for me. I decided to do three because I owe my niece Barbarita birthday her birthday gift and the other one would be for my daughter Barbara, cause I'm sure she is going to ask for one.

Como ven su cabello es estilo "reggae", como le digo yo, y no el típico Tilda, pero me gustó mucho como lucen las  trencitas. 
Entre las chácharas que dejó mi mami encontré el nido con los huevitos, así que me pareció ideal usarlos en esta muñeca, solo me las ingenié para hacer el pajarito de tela. Me encantó ¡¡¡ ¿Que les parece?

You can see that her hair is "reggae" style, as I say, and not the typical Tilda hair, but I really liked how the braids look.
In all the things my mom left, I found a small nest with the tiny eggs, so I it was great to use it in this doll, I only managed to make the fabric little bird. I loveded it ¡¡¡ What do you think?

El último detalle para su atuendo fué el sombrerito y las sandalias adornadas con listones y flores. 
La tengo colgada en una puerta y le da un aire country a la habitación, lo que me ha gustado muchísimo.
Tan pronto vaya terminando las otras dos se las mostraré aquí.

The last detail to her outfit was the hat and sandals decorated with ribbons and flowers.
I have it hanging on a door and gives a country air to the room, which I liked very much.

Aqui estamos planeando ir al playa el sabado o domingo, ya que son los ultimos dias en que mi hermano y su familia van a estar aquí, porque ya se regresan a su casa, así que vamos a aprovechar pasar este ultimo fin de semana juntos. Así que seguro la pasamos bien. Y eso mismo les deseo a ustedes, ! un lindo fin de semana ¡
Here we are planning to go to the beach on Saturday or Sunday, there are the last days that my brother and his family will be here, because they're going to leave us to go home, so we are going to spend this last weekend together. ¿O un precioso pollito? Bueno a ratos lo veo como una gallinita y a ratos como un pollito, de cualquier manera es parte de una propuesta sorpresa de Nanny del blog: "El blog de Nanny Alse".

Vacaciones y costurando...

Vacations and Sewing...

Hola ¿ que tal sus vacaciones ? Las mias diferentes pero productivas en cuanto a la costura. El fin de semana estuvimos de nuevo en la playa con la familia muy contentos y el resto de la semana he estado trabajando bastante en diferentes proyectos, lo que me tiene muy contenta. Hoy tenemos una lluvia de aquellas inspiradoras para escribir mientras se disfruta de un café.

Hi, how about your vacation? Mine is truly different but productive in my sewing. The weekend we were back to the beach, enjoying with the family, and the rest of the week I've been working hard on different projects, which makes me very happy. Today is rainning and it's inspires me to write enjoying a coffee.

Así que manos a la obra ¡¡ Hoy les quiero compartir unas alitas tilda que hice como parte de un proyecto en conjunto del blog "Las tildas de Canelussaka" en el cual estoy muy entusiasmada de participar. 
So get to work Today I want to share some Tilda wings I made as part of a joint project of the blog "Las Tildas de Canelussaka" in which I am very excited to participate.

Estas alitas supuestamente debían tener atras una abertura para colocarles adentro popurri (mezcla de petalos o especias) para utilizarlas como sachet para aromatizar ambientes, pero yo las hice cerradas y rellenas para colocarlas en mi arbolito de navidad.
This wings were supposed to have an opening in the back to place in potpourri (a mixture of petals or spices) for use as a sachet to scent rooms, but I made them  closed and stuffed to hang in my christmas tree.

Les bordé a cada una, una palabra diferente: love, peace, joy (amor, paz, dicha) para ambientarlas con las fiestas decembrinas.
El modelo original traía bordado el nombre de las especias aromáticas como lavanda.

I embroidered each one with a different word: love, peace, joy  to  remain the holidays.
The original model was embroidered with the spices names like lavender.

Fue un proyecto muy sencillo pero que luce lindo terminado, incluso podría ser un bello detalle para quien le queramos mostrar nuestro afecto.
It was a very simple project but it looks pretty completed, it could even be a beautiful present for anyone whom you love.

Tambien hice el tercer bloque del SAL "Volvamos a la tacita de té" que organiza yesi del blog "Yesi Quilter", al cual acabo de incorporarme, este SAL me encantó porque todos los bloques son bellisimos y yo que adoro todo lo relativo a las tazas estoy feliz de que me haya incluido en el proyecto aunque sea tarde.

I also made the third block of  the SAL "Back to the cup of tea" organized by Yesi OF the blog "Yesi Quilter," I have just join this SAL and I loved it because all the blocks are beautiful and I love everything about cups. I'm happy that I was  included in the project even later.

Y por último una foto de lo que me traigo entre manos ahora, son tres Tildas Flower Garden que estoy haciendo, una para mi hija y otra para mi sobrina Bárbara que cumplió sus IV años y le debo el regalo. Y claro una para mí ¡¡ Como ven les hice la piel en tres tonos diferentes, asi que seran una rubia, una trigueña y una morena... a ver como quedan.
 And finally a picture of what I have in hands now, I'm doing three "Tilda Flower Garden  dolls", one for my daughter and one for my niece Barbara who had her fifteen birthday and I owe her the gift. And of course one isw for me As you see, I made them in three different shades, so there will be different.
