MARAVILLOSA SORPRESA

Maybe you remember for a previous post my niece Adriana. I shared with you that she asked me for help to make her husband a Patchwork Quilt.
Like all the proud teachers, I want to share with you how is this going.
It is a beautiful quilt and she almost finish the hand quilting.
I always loved memory quilts and the colors and combinations of this are really great.

A lo mejor recuerden de una entrada anterior a mi sobrina. Adriana. Ella me pidió ayuda para hacerle a su marido una colcha de Patchwork.
Como cualquier maestra orgullosa quiero compartirles como va. Es una colcha hermosa y ya casi termina todo el acolchado a mano.
Siempre me han gustado las colchas de recuerdos y los colores y combinaciones de esta son maravillosos.

Christmas Tree Ornaments

Adornos para el árbol de Navidad

As you can see, I can't help it, i just love raggedies. So I did a couple of them for my christmas Tree. They are very small, about 8", made of muslin, with embroidered face, red yarn hair and painted shoes. Andy's clothes are red and blue and Annie's are in a beautiful printed red. I can't wait to see both hanging in my Tree.

Como ven no lo puedo evitar, adoro estas muñecas. Así que me hice un par de raggedies para adornar mi arbolito de Navidad. Son pequeñas, como 20 cm, hechas de muslin, con su carita bordada, pelo rojo de estambre y zapatitos pintados. La ropa de Andy es roja y azul y la de Annie es una linda tela roja estampada. No puedo esperar para verlos colgando de mi árbol.

Hi today I want you to know my two new raggedy babies.

Saludos, hoy quiero que conoscan mis dos bebes raggedy nuevos.

They are Raggedy Annie and Raggedy Andy, as you see they are very sweet and lovable.

Ellos son Raggedy Annie y Raggedy Andy, como ven son muy dulces y adorables.

I really love  the soft colors I choosed for their clothes, they are such baby colors.

Me encantaron los colores suaves que escogí para sus ropas, son colores adecuados para bebe.

CALENDARIO COUNTRY, NOVIEMBRE.

 Hola que tal, hoy les quiero mostrar el bloque del calendario country que hemos estado realizando, Alicia, Margot y yo, y ahora nos toco ya el mes de noviembre, no les parece que este año ha transcurrido demasiado rápido, o es que asi vivimos.

Ahora le ha tocado el turno a un lindo pájarito con acebo en su piquito, estos detalles nos recuerda que pronto sera navidad me ha encantado, yo lo estoy realizando en "red work", algo sencillo verdad, jeje pero con mucho cariño, aquí lo dejo amigas para que lo chequen, les mando un saludo y pasen linda noche.

Finally I did it, today I made my first toy drop as a member of The toy Society, and it makes me feel really great. I made my drop at the play ground in the park of the Aleman neighborhood, in Merida, Yucatan, Mexico.

Lo hice al fin,"dejé" mi primer juguete como miembro de  La Sociedad de los Juguetes y me hace sentir maravillosamente. Dejé mi juguete en el campo de juegos de la colonia Alemán en Merida, Yucatan, Mexico.

This is "Ringo", My Raggedy Star

Hi again, finally "Ringo" is finished, he is the first raggedy boy I made, and I just love him, his little girlfriend "Honey Pie" has been ready since august. Now the're going to be accompanied.

Hola de nuevo,finalmente termine a Ringo, es mi primer raggedy niño y me encanta. su amiguita Honey Pie esta lista desde agosto, ahora se haran compañia.

His uncombed hair falling over his forehead reminds me the famous beatles hairstyle, and that's why I called him Ringo, as the band's drummer  unforgettable Ringo Star.

Su pelo depeinado cayendo sobre su frente me recuerda al famoso peinado de los beatles, por eso lo llamé Ringo como el inolvidable baterista de la banda, Ringo Starr.

He has a muslin body, embroidered face and painted shoes. Ringo is very happy with his new shirt and pants.

Esta hecho de muslin, su carita está bordada y sus zapatos pintados. Ringo esta muy contento con su camisa y pantalón nuevos.


She is Honey Pie (Like the Beatles song) for those who missed her post.
Ella es "Honey Pie" (como la cancion de los Beatles) por aquellos que se perdieron su entrada.
